Non-NHS work

Doctors are often asked to complete work which does not form part of their NHS contract. The charges below have been drawn up to reflect the BMA guidance on private fees. Please note that all work is done and any charges are at the Doctor’s discretion. Therefore this list is a guide to costs which may vary depending on the work involved to complete the request.

Please be aware that non-NHS work may not always be completed promptly. We endeavour to complete it within 28 days. Our first priority is our NHS patients and our contractual responsibilities. If you require a report more urgently and we have the capacity to complete it within the requested timeframe, there will be a £45 surcharge.
